No modifications are required for your performance chip to work on your vehicle. If you modify your vehicle in the future, the performance chip will recognize the modifications, and adapt and correct the air/fuel mixtures. If you ever wish to return your vehicle to stock form, simply unplug the performance chip from the OBD2 port, and the factory ECU will resume with the original fuel map. How PowerBox3 Works?
PowerBox3 sends a constant signal to the Engine Control Module (ECM) with an optimal fuel mixture and timing curve for better performance. It’s ECU tuning that uses the “piggy-back” system that works with any existing modifications and can be removed (with the engine off), resetting your vehicle to its previous settings without leaving any footprint.
The PowerBox3 has a dyno-tuned fuel map programmed for each specific vehicle model to change air/fuel mixtures, timing, and spark. Turbo or supercharged vehicles will also see an increase in boost pressure.
How to Install PowerBox3?
The chip plugs into the OBD2 diagnostic port, typically found under the dashboard on the driver’s side. Total installation time is typically 60 seconds or less thanks to our Quick Connect Technology.
No car tuning mechanical experience, special tools, or wire cutting is required. Need help? Technical support is available at 763-370-2746
Watch for imposters! Other performance chip products claim easy installation, but require tools and wire cutting, or do not include pre-programing. These are NOT PowerBox3. Often imitated…never duplicated.
How Quickly PowerBox3 Chip Start Working?
The PowerBox3 Chip will start working immediately after installation. Full performance benefits can be noticed after 50–150 miles of total driving after installation.
Is PowerBox3 Safe for My Vehicle?
Yes, PowerBox3 Chip is safe for your vehicle and actually considered safer than factory chips. PowerBox3 improve the existing factory fuel map, thereby improving the efficiency of your vehicle.
Will PowerBox3 Void My Vehicle's Warranty?
Performance chips are safe for your vehicle’s warranty, protected by law under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.
The vehicle manufacturer can’t simply void your entire vehicle’s warranty due to aftermarket accessories. Because of the nature of warranties and contracts, you, as the customer, are responsible for ensuring these items do not void any part of your vehicle’s warranty. While a loss of any vehicle warranty has never happened as a result of the installation of one of our performance chip products, PowerBox3 will not be held responsible for any loss of warranty. It’s recommended to remove the module prior to service, to avoid potential issues or misunderstandings with the dealer, and to protect your warranty.
